in the bag

Lucy was asking "What's in your handbag?" so I've dug out this pic from a few years ago.

Contents:

PDA
Car keys for my old Ford Sierra
Keys for everything else
Moleskine sketchbook
Fineliner pens
Fruit drops
Hair gunk
Specs
Nurofen/Rennies/Rescue Remedy
Make-up stuff
Credit cards
Kipling bag
Mobile phone
Conkers
Gerber Multiplier
Tissues
Richard Beard's "Manly Pursuits"
Purse

Must get an up-to-date pic sometime...

  1. Do you still have your Kipling bag? I love mine and the monkey came in very handy in waiting rooms etc. when the children were younger.

  2. I read that as Gerbil Multiplier (which usually translates to, another gerbil).

  3. It was very interesting for me to read that blog. Thanx for it. I like such topics and everything connected to this matter. I definitely want to read more soon.

  4. Particularly impressed by the boiled sweets. Where would we be without boiled sweets?

  5. I do have it, Anji; though my everyday bag is now a Timbuk2 messenger bag. I had my Kipling for ages before I discovered that you can make the monkey clasp hands and stick its thumb in its gob.
I'd be scared to play it, Suzanne; my memory's rubbish...
I could do you a good deal on a couple of rats, Charlie... Gerber always got me thinking of baby milk, but I've got used to the tool version now
    Thank you, anonymous!
My teeth would probably be better than they are, Graham, but I'd still rather have the boiled sweets. Especially Bray's fruit drops. Worth going to Wales for!
